This is what I did today

Assalamalikum everyone, so today I helped out at this place... doing this http://www.torontomuslims.com/dawanet/OpenHouse.asp masha'allah it was really nice. They had books to give out, had little speeches, prayed and ate.. it was good. Insha'allah we will all be rewarded for our efforts. Well its 31 degrees here now... so im gonna get away from this comp, mayb have a little nap before driving up to my mums to see them. Fi amenallah

Assalamalikum everyone.... so here is my food for the evening.. a stir fry of onions, mushrooms, garlic & red pepper with grilled veggie sausage in a sweet & sour sauce. Served with white herby rice.. yummy alhamdulillah....

Assalamalikum everyone,

well... its 8am.. for those of you who know my work, I was working for the airport last night testing the fuel. Well it failed, I phoned them up and they told me there was nothing they could do until the morning so I could go home. So I started going home at about 11pm and got stuck in a traffic jam, then my phone rings and its one of the guys tellin me hes goin to pick up another sample for me to test and he would prob be at the lab in 40 mins... *yawn* so i head back... catch up on some reading and my salah alhamdulillah.. he gets to the lab about 1230, nearly 1.5hrs later... and eventually leaves about 115am... so i get home just after 130am and im sooo knackered!! (tired) and all i wanna do is curl up in a little ball and sleep. Insha'allah ill sleep a little at dinner and tonight between prayers... sorry dee.. my health & sanity is more important so insha'allah ill work on more stitchings after im sorted.

Well.. suppose i should go... but i dont wanna!!! Fi amenallah

They say

Assalamalikum everyone, ok... so on my way to work this morning I was thinking about a few things that have been happenin to me lately and how annoying it was to hear 'oh they say this' and 'yeh ive heard they say that' my cousin is expectin her 2nd baby soon insha'allah. Her 1st was 1 the end of may alhamdulillah, and when i told my mum she was expecting again... (i got back to canada and she emailed me to say she was about 6months and didnt even know) my mum was like... oh no, they say that youre supposed to leave at least 2yrs between babies to give them the attention they deserve. This really annoyed me cause, well who knows what is better for us than Allah (swt) ok so my cousin isnt muslim... but still, he does things to her doesnt he?! Plus... who is 'they'?? who are these people that think they have a hold over our thoughts and our actions to the point that we listen and accept what they say?? there was also another issue i was thinking of but since arriving into work i cant remember it. Just wanted to vent thats all... thanks for 'listening'
