My dress, finally

So after seeing this dress ages ago on Janas blog and finding it periodically on ebay in 2 sizes too big I finally found it in my size. Needless to say 'I watched' it often on my ebay and thought I had slept in this morning to miss it. Alhamdulilah I hadnt. So in the meantime I decided to try to download some protection onto my laptop, yes you guessed it... with 9mins to go my computer turns off after installing some software and seemed to take forever to get back up. I immediately got on ebay, 5 mins left.. alhamdulillah. It was at 4.99 with 4 pound shipping at 2mins I put my bid in for 10.01 yeh Im silly i was looking at the price of the dress to calculate a nice round figure (I like round figures) So with my bid the dress had gone up to 6.50 I refresh constantly, 14 seconds to go... 5 seconds... yeh.. I won it alhamdulillah. So I go about paying when I realise they are saying more than what I saw, when I look back at the bids... about 30 seconds before the close someone bumped it up I just didnt realise because I was still top bidder. Oh well, total just over 13 pounds alhamdulillah... I dont know how much this was originally as they have taken it off the website (off to look at janas blog, nope no details)
Anyways, with this set I have included high heels, cause the dress is soo girly I dont think it would be right to wear with flats.. insha'allah I can get myself back into them :P A long sleeved black bolero which hopefully I can find to also go with another monsoon dress I bought a few months ago. A thick chunky bracelet that has a few colours other than the staples of black and purple, although I think also a few glass bracelets and thin ones would look nice too. I added 3 hijabs there, the top left is a velvet scarf which I feel would work well with the mixture of fabrics, the middle left is silk and although a different purple I think would look ok.. too much of the same shade is just too much sometimes. Especially seeing as this is a long dress, maybe if it was a knee length dress with black trousers underneath you could do the same shade. The right middle is a patterned silk scarf that would also look lovely as the dress is plain, so you can afford a little pattern :) I havent added a bag because, well.. lets face it... if Im out wearing this I dont need to carry anything with me :P heehee.. enjoy girls.. would like to hear opinions. Oh.. dee.. this is getting sent to u, so keep an eye out insha'allah :D

  3. Salaam Ammena! Just saw your comment over at mine! Girl, you have a knack for bargains - that dress originally I'm sure was around £75-£100. It was in the sales for a lot less, but I didn't buy it because it was way too long :(

Congrats, I'm sure you'll look very nice in it mashallah :)
