Bits

Assalamalikum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatu,
insha'allah this post finds you all in the greatest of health and faith (no matter what faith) so its been awhile since I last posted.. its now my weeks anniversary of being a wife and I have to say Im loving it so far. Ive been reading many blogs over the years of wives and family blogs and also I have researched alot (not always intentionally) about talking about ones marriage amongst people, even friends. So I will not be changing this blog into a 'my husband is so good, he does this this and this and never makes me lift that' because there are many people out here on the blogging world who will give in to jealousy and I do not wish to be apart of that. That is not my intention so forgive me and feel free to point it out to me if I go in that direction.. so for now I just wanted to give you a low down on some things that have been happening with us. I also wanted to give more details on my henna night but I feel that Rainbow, Humble muslimah and Happy muslim Mama have done a fantastic job so I direct you to read their blogs and comment there insha'allah I know they would love to read them. I also wanted to show you some of the cards that HMM made for myself and my new husband.. not all of them of course ;) bless her masha'allah.. I also wanted to pass on to Ms EyeS that we talked about you at the henna party, HMM asked who I knew on the blog world and your name came up, guess what!! she reads you too hun! so you aint just writing for me, although I love reading your blogs as like the letters you used to write to me. Which Im waiting for more of by the way lol :D
Ive added a few generic pics here and its time for bed.. so insha'allah I will add more to this tomorrow cause Im off for the whole day and who knows whats planned.. its supposed to be bad weather so maybe it will be staying in day :D Allahu alim. Just to thank everyone who was involved in my last few weeks, I will remember u always with the fondest of memories alhamdulillah

  7. Congratulations on your marriage, even with your faces blocked out, you still both seem so happy somehow. Maybe it is the edges of smiles you can still see just outside of the circles over your faces.

    Assalamu alaikom,
Hey, that's cool! :D Lil ol' me got mentioned at your party?! Aww.

(Ammena says I'm 'not just writing for' her because I once told her that she is my main reason for blogging--for her and I to keep up to date on each other's lives!)

Yes, I know I ought to mail you something. I'm a lazy procrastinator anymore. :(

    Ok, let's talk about you!!!!!

I think it's cute that you don't want to start singing the hubby song but guess what? I figure if there's any time that you wanna go all lovey-dovey-syrupy-sweet on us, this would be the time! Enjoy it. You deserve this happiness, and I would love to share in it with you, and I can do that by reading you blogging about it! :) The first year of marriage, everything is roses and rainbows. :) It's all downhill from there. LOL Just kidding. It settles down from there.

I can understand what you're saying about jealousy, though, and I agree with that concern, too. Hm, it's a dilemma!

(I still vote for blogging about your happiness, only because I'm so darned happy for you!)

Please feel free to leave your comments, baring in mind that I dont have to accept them if they show ignorance, hatred or racism.. but I generally accept them all because what free country do we live in if you cant express yourself through my blogs?
